Illness is an unfortunate but common occurrence in our lives. Some illnesses last for a few days, while others can last a lifetime. Our bodies require rest to feel better and recover, so we often spend more time in bed than usual. This blog explores the different aspects and consequences of being sick, its impact on our daily lives, and how to make the best out of such a situation.

For years, I used any pillow that felt comfortable to the touch without considering its performance when it was time to sleep or provide support.

However, when I started getting sick and spending more time in bed, I realized how vital it is to have the perfect resting and sleeping conditions to aid with the improvement of my health.

I needed to make my bed and surroundings, take a more systematic approach to the issue, and start testing pillows for the different purposes I needed them in my
life.

I read online reviews and looked through best-seller lists. I also received recommendations from friends and family. I selected pillows that cover a variety of fill materials and firmness levels among the best-selling and top-rated pillows.

This included shredded memory foam, down and feather, solid memory foam, down alternative, and latex pillows. I'm naturally a side sleeper, though I shift into all three parts at night.
